Why G4orce came together

G4orce was started with a simple premise – giving a camera to someone does not suddenly produce a photographer and giving a flying camera to a photographer does not make the photographer a pilot. Werner Hamp’s years of experience as a professional pilot and numerous qualifications combined with George Hamp’s experience as an artist and skilled ad producer is what makes G4orce unique. As the aerial media industry evolves, Werner and George give you a team that can operate a camera that flies legally and safely while producing footage or still photography that you just won’t get from your standard drone operator.

The CRew

Werner Hamp • Operations Director

Werner Hamp is G4orce’s Aerial Operations Director. He has more than 20000 hours of flight time in a wide variety of aircraft – from Crop Dusters in South America to DC6s in Africa. He even managed to get in a few years as a senior pilot on the Goodyear Blimp until he sold out and went commercial, retiring as a Captain flying 737s for Continental Airlines. There is more fun to his story, but you’ll have to ask him yourself.

Werner has FAA UAS certification and is responsible for our safety checks, flight planning, equipment integrity and operating standards. When not doing all of that, you’ll find him on his classic sailboat tinkering away on some ingenious modification.

George Hamp • Creative Director

George Hamp is G4orce’s Creative Director. He could have been a pilot, but decided to spend the last 24 years working in advertising. Over that time, he’s worked on campaigns for numerous start up companies, trade organizations and international NGOs. His focus is always how to best use available creative resources to get the most for your money.

George is responsible for facilitating creative planning, supervising post-production and managing G4orce’s creative expansion. When not doing that, you will find him stealing ingenious ideas from his father to add to his own classic sailboat.

OUR PROCESS

Planning: Every G4orce mission starts with a complete audit of the legal restrictions of the mission. If waivers from local authorities are required, G4orce will advise on the process to make your mission legal. Once those legal parameters have been obtained, mission planning begins using the latest plotting software.

Simulations: Complex missions often require a mission simulation. If necessary, G4orce will run a simulation of the mission using Google Earth and review with you. Final shot lists can be established at this point.

Mission Day: On the day of the shoot, G4orce will fly the mission once all legal requirements are met and weather conditions have been checked. We will fly the mission requirements and review the shoot with you.

Final Product: After the mission, G4orce will provide a basic edit of footage and process any color correction necessary. Then we will export up to three formats to meet your media objectives. Additional formats are available at a nominal charge.
